The day-to-day operations of the Fire Department start with Administration. 消防队长, 副局长, Battalion Chiefs/Shift Commanders, 消防局长, and Administrative Assistant operate out of the Headquarters Station. 消防队长 oversees and approves all of the operations of the Fire Department, he is assisted by two Deputy Fire Chiefs who oversee operations and administration. The Battalion Chiefs/Shift Commander is in charge of the daily shift operations for all seven of the fire stations located in the County, they are in charge of fire suppression operations, personnel and equipment. The 消防局长l conducts fire investigations, fire inspections and plan reviews of buildings in the County. The Administrative Assistant schedules the fire safety education classes, reviews time sheets and prepares correspondence for the department.
